What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Entra ID security controls (Conditional Access, identity governance, privileged access, authentication security) and validate access requests and exceptions.
• Configure and manage endpoint security and device management using Microsoft Intune security baselines and compliance policies.
• Implement and optimize Microsoft Defender solutions (Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud Apps) to improve detection, prevention, and response.
• Build security monitoring and automation with Microsoft Sentinel (KQL detections, analytics rules, dashboards) and SOAR response playbooks.
• Manage data protection and compliance using Microsoft Purview (DLP, information protection, compliance controls) and support security governance initiatives.
• Run security operations including incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security posture management (CSPM) across Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s considered an asset).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in security engineering, cloud security, security operations, or related cybersecurity roles.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and administering Microsoft 365 E5 security technologies in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with security operations: incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
• Experience supporting security controls and monitoring within AWS environments (e.g., IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config).
• Experience implementing or administering Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions.
