• Monitor evolving cybersecurity threats, emerging trends, and technological advancements within the financial ecosystem.
• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on vulnerabilities to inform organizational decision-making.
• Lead investigations using critical thinking to uncover security insights and solve complex problems.
• Create and disseminate detailed threat intelligence reports.
• Learn about the cybersecurity industry and hirify.global’s specific role in protecting digital finance.

Requirements

• Currently completing an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Network Engineering, or Computer Science from a credible Canadian institution.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
• Foundational technical experience in cybersecurity or networking.
• Possession of or working towards certifications such as SANS GIAC (GCLD/GCDA/GCIA) or CompTIA CySA+.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting or software development.
• Cloud environment experience.
• Familiarity with ticket management platforms (JIRA, ServiceNow) and SIEM tools (Splunk, Qradar).
• Experience with security toolsets like Cortex, Microsoft Defender, ProofPoint, Tenable, or Panorama.
