What you will do

• Perform high-quality systems operations, deployments, scaling, and optimization of AWS infrastructure.
• Diagnose and respond to ongoing DDoS events in collaboration with customers and service teams.
• Proactively assess DDoS resilience across hirify.global organizations and drive systemic improvements.
• Identify and develop automation to enhance incident response and detection/mitigation systems.
• Establish quality metrics to identify recurring inefficiencies and drive them to resolution.
• Contribute to the team's on-call rotation and participate in hiring and developing new talent.

Requirements

• Professional software development experience (non-internship) within the last 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
• Experience managing Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems, or large-scale web applications.
• Proven track record of handling large enterprise technical customer escalations.
• Proficiency in automation or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, or Shell.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a high-tech environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hypervisors, VMware, or Xen.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP) and network design.
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities for technical leadership.
