What you will do

• Migrate a .NET Framework monolith to AWS-native microservices.
• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build event-driven solutions using AWS messaging technologies like SNS/SQS and Eventbridge.
• Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using BDD/TDD.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to improve the software delivery lifecycle.
• Implement AI-assisted development tooling to increase delivery quality and speed.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with .NET / .NET Core.
• Proven track record in AWS and cloud-native development.
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Manchester (1-2 days per week onsite).

Nice to have

• Experience working within large-scale cloud migration or modernization programmes.
• Experience with React for fullstack contributions.
