A global payment technology provider operating a high-resilience Merchantware and Semi-Integrated platform.

What you will do

• Design and implement roadmap features for the Merchantware Gateway to a high technical standard.
• Develop scalable backend services and occasional frontend components in a collaborative environment.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Improve development processes, tools, and methodologies through hands-on implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers via code reviews and pairing sessions.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across internal test and production environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong server-side development expertise in a Windows C# .NET environment.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable web service solutions.
• Proficiency with relational databases, specifically SQL Server.
• Strong experience with Test Automation, including unit testing and BDD/SpecFlow.
• Eligibility to work in the UK on a permanent full-time basis.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of payment processing or PCI standards.
• Experience with software usability and information security.
• Background in system architecture.
