What you will do
- Lead the design and development of multi-modal technical learning programs (instructor-led, self-paced, blended, and on-the-job) for the Sunnyvale learner population.
- Translate complex AI infrastructure concepts into accessible learning experiences for technical and cross-functional audiences.
- Run rigorous needs analyses with technical leaders and SMEs, then convert findings into learning strategies with defined success metrics.
- Own programs end-to-end from scoping through evaluation, independently managing workstreams and refining processes.
- Develop and maintain facilitator guides, participant materials, and job aids across the program portfolio.
- Serve as the primary CWU point of contact for technical learning in Sunnyvale and collaborate with the Technical Development LP Lead (Dallas) to ensure curriculum consistency.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in instructional design, learning & development, or a closely related field with increasing scope and ownership.
- Proven experience designing learning programs for technical or highly specialized subject matter in a technology company, AI/ML environment, or engineering-heavy organization.
- Track record advising senior technical stakeholders on learning strategy (not only executing against briefs).
- Advanced instructional design skills across multiple modalities, including comfort designing for in-person, virtual, and blended delivery.
- Strong analytical skills: define success metrics, interpret evaluation data, and use insights to improve programs.
- Proficiency with standard L&D tools (LMS platforms, authoring tools like Articulate/Rise, and virtual facilitation platforms).

Salary: $127,000–$168,000 (base salary range)
