Entry Level RF Engineer (RF and Communications)

Base salary: $62,500.00–$140,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Analyze and model RF and communications systems that address challenging engineering problems.
• Perform analysis and modeling of complex radio frequency systems.
• Use standard laboratory instrumentation for system validation and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to technical reports and presentations with appropriate guidance.
• Identify challenges in assigned work and communicate them to project leadership.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary software, hardware, and materials engineering groups.

Requirements

• Entry-level knowledge and use of commercially available RF and communications software tools.
• Knowledge of RF systems and architectures and electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving, verbal and written communication, management, and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in highly collaborative team environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in radio frequency or communications engineering or a related field.
• Must obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with RF system-on-chip platforms.
• FPGA development and digital signal processing implementation experience.
• Experience with beamforming integrated circuits and phased-array systems.
• Experience with software-defined radio platforms and wireless communication systems.
• Exposure to advanced RF and communications systems through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.
