Entry Level RF Engineer

TL;DR

Entry Level RF Engineer (RF): Contributing to the design, development, and testing of radio frequency and communications systems with an accent on analysis and modeling of complex RF systems. Focus on using laboratory instrumentation for validation and troubleshooting to solve critical national challenges.

Location: Cambridge, MA. Applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

Salary: $62,500 - $140,000

What you will do

• Analyze and model complex RF and communications systems to solve challenging problems.
• Perform system validation and troubleshooting using standard laboratory instrumentation.
• Contribute technical content for reports and presentations.
• Identify and communicate technical challenges to project leadership.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, hardware, and material engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Radio Frequency or Communications Engineering.
• Knowledge of RF systems, architectures, and electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
• Strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with RF system-on-chip (RFSoC) platforms.
• FPGA development and digital signal processing (DSP) implementation.
• Experience with beamforming integrated circuits and phased-array systems.
• Knowledge of software-defined radio (SDR) platforms and wireless communication systems.
