Senior Systems Administrator

TL;DR

Senior Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux): Provide ongoing systems administration support, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident remediation across end-point systems and servers with an accent on availability, reliability, compliance, and operational reporting. Focus on diagnosing systemic faults, enhancing policies/procedures, and maintaining documentation while supporting development, test, and production environments.

What you will do

• Support availability and reliability of systems (Windows, Linux) across multiple locations.
• Perform installation and maintenance for assigned organization, location, or line of business.
• Administer development, test, and production servers and endpoints (reloading, re-imaging, debugging).
• Install, remove, and upgrade software packages on test, development, and production servers.
• Troubleshoot systems and host environments, identify root causes, and resolve faults and inconsistencies.
• Maintain compliance reports and documentation; provide systems evaluation and operational reports.

Requirements

• Experience with Windows and Linux systems, including ability to read and write scripts in PowerShell and Bash.
• Hands-on experience using command lines.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security practices (hardening, GPO, OS patching).
• Familiarity with AD (objects, groups, linking), remoting/RDP, VNC, SSH, BIOS, network boot, Windows OS installation phases, logs reading and repair tools, and virtualization (Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of Windows server roles and administration.
• Fluent English and Slovak are required.
