Blockchain Engineer (Web3): Developing a bespoke blockchain protocol and end-to-end dApps with an accent on protocol-level engineering, smart contract security, and frontend UX. What you will do
- Develop a bespoke blockchain from the ground up, writing protocol-level code in Rust, C++, and Python across consensus and networking layers.
- Build end-to-end dApps, designing secure, gas-efficient smart contracts and delivering clean frontend UX.
- Build and maintain indexing infrastructure, APIs, and real-time data pipelines.
- Collaborate on product design, UX, and incentive mechanics for gaming and DeFi categories.
- Leverage AI-native development tools daily to accelerate shipping and problem-solving.
- Represent the team at hackathons and conferences within the Web3 ecosystem.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of blockchain/Web3 development experience with at least one meaningful on-chain deployment.
- Solid foundation in Solidity and TypeScript to deliver complete products.
- Comfort with systems-level programming in Rust and C++.
- Strong English communication skills for asynchronous collaboration.
- AI-native workflow using tools such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or Windsurf.
- Proven product sense and ability to focus on usability and user experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Anchor (Solana), Move (Aptos/Sui), MEV, or ZK proofs.
- Previous experience at a blue-chip protocol or well-known Web3 project.
- Hackathon experience or open-source contributions.
