What you will do

• Assess new account applications and make credit decisions using credit reports.
• Manage customer credit limits and monitor ongoing credit risk.
• Chase outstanding debt and negotiate payment arrangements with customers.
• Resolve account queries and disputes to ensure timely collection.
• Process direct debits, customer payments, and perform daily cash allocations and bank reconciliations.
• Produce regular KPI and debt reports for management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in credit control, including credit checking and risk assessment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident telephone manner.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with financial systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
