Senior QA Tester (Game Development)

Location: Cambridge, UK. The role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days per week in the studio. Relocation support is available.

What you will do

• Test games throughout all phases of development, from pre-production through post-release content.
• Write, execute, and maintain test specifications and suites for medium-to-high-risk features.
• Conduct playtesting, regression testing, destructive testing, and player-like testing.
• Identify, document, and report issues clearly while analyzing trends and anticipating risks.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams as the QA point of contact for specific features.
• Guide and mentor testers, with potential Assistant Lead or Team Lead responsibilities.

Requirements

• Significant QA experience in the games industry.
• Strong understanding of QA tools, procedures, methodologies, and workflows.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience aligning testing with requirements, managing priorities, and collaborating across teams.
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience.
