TL;DR
QA Tester (Gamedev): Ensuring compliance and functionality of PlayStation titles with an accent on technical requirements and bug reporting. Focus on testing across platforms including PSVR and maintaining rigorous quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Must be based on-site in Liverpool, UK
is the global leader in interactive and digital entertainment, responsible for the PlayStation brand and its ecosystem of hardware and software.
What you will do
- Test submissions for compliance with Technical Requirements Checklists across all platforms, including PSVR.
- Identify, investigate, and report bugs thoroughly within the Certification & Operations team.
- Check application content for legal, copyright, and age-rating compliance.
- Produce manual functionality reports to ensure accuracy against submitted game code.
- Collaborate with team leaders to improve testing procedures and processes.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on-site in Liverpool, UK.
- Must be available to start on October 26th.
- Excellent attention to detail and methodical problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal systems like SHIP and Unity.
- Ability to work a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern (8am to 7pm).
