What you will do

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-hosted managed service platforms.
• Define infrastructure architecture for mission-critical applications, including networking, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Develop and improve infrastructure-as-code and automation capabilities using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Collaborate with software engineering and DevOps teams to enable cloud-native deployment models.
• Support major bids and customer engagements with infrastructure and hosting architecture expertise.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring across infrastructure and platform engineering domains.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom and eligible for security vetting.
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure, Cloud, or Platform Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud hosting (Azure, AWS, or private cloud).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tooling.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and modern platform technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security, and operational support models.

Nice to have

• Experience with UK Emergency Services, Telephony, and Airwave infrastructure.
• Experience within public safety, defence, government, or other highly regulated industries.
• Certifications in TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of FinOps, Zero Trust security, and SIEM integration.
