What you will do

  • Execute experiments to characterize processes and ensure seamless integration in high-volume manufacturing.
  • Identify and resolve process integration challenges using root cause analysis and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering, Device, Defect Reduction, and Module Engineering teams to meet yield targets.
  • Develop engineering projects to improve yield, quality, and performance while reducing costs.
  • Leverage statistical data analysis to identify manufacturing issues and devise corrective solutions.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) strategies and contain quality events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Demonstrated experience in project execution, including Design of Experiments (DOE) and process improvement.
  • Strong technical expertise and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Leixlip, Ireland.

Nice to have

  • Master's or PhD in a relevant technical field.
  • Knowledge of device physics and high-volume wafer fabrication processes.
  • Experience in semiconductor process or equipment engineering.
  • Programming or scripting experience (Python, SQL) for large-scale data analysis.
