What you will do

• Design and implement privacy controls and data minimization techniques into the product and tech stack.
• Develop core privacy engineering services for user control, anonymization, and data lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to enforce robust data governance practices.
• Build custom tooling, APIs, and libraries to standardize privacy enforcement across the technology stack.
• Translate complex privacy requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Champion user privacy and security standards across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in privacy engineering, security, or related software engineering roles.
• Strong software engineering skills in C/C++, Rust, Golang, or Python.
• Proven experience building APIs or microservices for data governance or privacy controls.
• Expertise in privacy domains such as anonymization, data lineage, and privacy-preserving techniques.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work 5 days/week in-office in San Jose, CA.
