What you will do
- Lead the strategic design of secure AI lifecycles and implement technical guardrails for data-to-inference pipelines.
- Serve as the primary technical authority on the AI Governance Committee, defining secure-by-design standards for LLM integration.
- Champion the implementation of security controls within CI/CD pipelines, including SAST/DAST/SCA and ML-BOM tracking.
- Oversee secure architecture design in AWS, focusing on IAM, data protection, and network security using Terraform.
- Manage and grow a high-caliber engineering team, fostering expertise across application security, cloud infrastructure, and adversarial AI research.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to balance security requirements with business velocity.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Information Security or Software Engineering with at least 5 years of hands-on development experience (Python, Go, or Java).
- 5+ years in a formal leadership role managing senior and staff-level security engineers.
- Deep familiarity with the MITRE ATLAS framework and defending agentic AI systems.
- Professional-level mastery of AWS security architecture (SCPs, VPC design, GuardDuty).
- Expertise in Terraform, container security (K8s/EKS), and modern GRC integration.
- Ability to communicate data-backed priorities to executive leadership.
