What you will do

• Lead the definition and implementation of flight software for servicing spacecraft.
• Define functional breakdowns and high-level requirements, maintaining technical baselines.
• Design software architectures, perform technical trade-offs, and conduct budget and performance calculations.
• Develop low-level software (operating systems, system drivers, communication protocols) and high-level applications and control algorithms.
• Establish implementation, verification, and validation plans.
• Manage interfaces and requirements in coordination with Avionics and other hardware sections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in software architectures for aerospace or similar complex systems.
• Expertise in real-time distributed system design for safety-critical applications, focusing on timing and synchronization.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing methodologies.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
