The Exploration Company is building a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed to carry cargo and humans, with a mission to democratize space exploration.

What you will do

• Synthesize test bench requirements and plan verification methods for propulsion systems.
• Design ground support equipment and P&IDs using CAD software with minimal oversight.
• Conduct hazard assessments (FMEA and HAZOPs) to ensure personnel and hardware safety.
• Lead end-to-end test facility development, including manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
• Select and integrate control and data acquisition systems for test operations.
• Collaborate with procurement and design teams to balance technical requirements, cost, and lead times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in propulsion or related engineering fields.
• Hands-on experience with test bench design, specifically for cryogenic rocket engine testing.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX or CATIA.
• Experience performing detailed risk and hazard assessments for testing activities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex engineering concepts.

• Background in cryogenic propellants and systems.
• Experience obtaining environmental analysis for test facilities.
