What you will do

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native microservices for the financial services platform.
• Develop scalable and resilient backend systems using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
• Own features end-to-end, from technical design to implementation, testing, and production.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices using modern DevOps tooling.
• Mentor engineers and drive quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany or Serbia
• Several years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong backend focus.
• Deep expertise in Java and/or Kotlin and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with databases and messaging systems such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
