What you will do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain steady-state and transient functional models for high-thrust rocket engines.
• Perform functional analysis activities and define subsystem interactions.
• Integrate experimental data and development updates into subsystem models.
• Support system-level activities and priority tasks within the propulsion systems team.
• Validate and update models based on literature reviews and experimental data.
• Prepare high-quality technical documentation.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of Liquid Rocket Engines working principles.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and systems engineering/control systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
• Ability to work onsite in Bordeaux, France.

Nice to have

• Experience with modelling and simulation tools like EcosimPro.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards (ECSS, NASA guidelines).
