What you will do

• Design MGSEs (mechanical and electro-mechanical), delivering detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare, execute, and manage the mechanical integration and testing of space subsystems at company and partner facilities.
• Perform calculations and stress analysis to demonstrate safety margins for MGSEs.
• Develop assembly, integration, and testing procedures for mechanisms and related equipment.
• Manage the procurement, assembly, and commissioning of ground support equipment with the supply chain team.
• Analyze and resolve technical anomalies occurring during AIT phases and propose systemic improvements.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Professional experience with mechanical AIT (preparation, execution, and reporting).
• Proven experience in MGSE, tooling, and test setup design.
• Proficiency in CAD tools for 3D modeling and drafting (e.g., Siemens NX).
• Basic understanding and experience with mechanical structural analysis.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Turin, Italy.
• Good English skills are required.
