What you will do

• Lead the design of electrical schematics for power and signal circuits, including safety and protection mechanisms.
• Define the architecture of HiL electrical systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop and support electrical setups for component and subsystem testing, from simple rigs to integrated systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, CE marking, and electrical safety regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, simulation, and mechanical engineering.
• Perform make-or-buy analysis and manage electrical component procurement and supplier coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Automation Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical system design, circuit protection, and signal integrity.
• Solid knowledge of industry standards such as IEC/EN standards, Machinery Directive, and CE marking.
• Experience using electrical CAD tools like EPLAN or Zuken.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Pragmatic, cost-conscious design mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuit design.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with HiL testing, test bench architecture, or EGSE systems.
• German language proficiency.
