Salary: $120,000 - $135,000

What you will do

• Estimate and complete development tasks, including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis with guidance.
• Design and develop APIs and full-stack functionality using Ruby on Rails and React/Redux.
• Assess, diagnose, and prioritize issues in systems you own, including production incident triage.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Mentor junior developers and improve engineering processes and practices.
• Present and write about work for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Expert experience with Ruby on Rails and API design & development.
• Experience with React/Redux, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Postman, Datadog, and RSpec.
• Experience responding to and triaging production issues.

Nice to have

• Prior government contracting experience.
• Experience with VA systems.
