What you will do

• Investigate and evaluate property loss claims of moderate-to-high severity both in the field and virtually.
• Conduct physical inspections of damaged dwellings, structures, and personal property.
• Determine scope of repairs and prepare repair bids using the Xactimate estimating system.
• Negotiate and agree upon repair costs with insured parties and contractors.
• Ensure the cause of loss is thoroughly identified, coordinating with experts when necessary.
• Manage all correspondence to ensure files remain regulatory compliant and settle payments.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related professional experience.
• 4+ years of claims experience, specifically with an emphasis on homeowner claims.
• Knowledge of homeowner policies, procedures, and the Xactimate repair estimating system.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US; no visa sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of direct field experience.
• Knowledge of home construction.
