What you will do

• Serve as a deep technical expert for cybersecurity principles across network, application, cloud, and endpoint use cases.
• Lead technology initiatives and guide teams through complex security challenges and implementations.
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to integrate security controls into the application environment.
• Develop and maintain technology strategy, roadmaps, and infrastructure standards.
• Manage third-party vendor contracts, performance metrics, and reporting dashboards.
• Create and review technical documentation and specifications for supported applications.

Requirements

• Must be a resident of the state of Ohio.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, preferably in healthcare.
• In-depth knowledge of NGFW, IPS, VPNs, Proxies, SASE, WAF, DoS protections, NAC, Radius, SDWAN, and WLAN security.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements such as HIPAA.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNP Security.
