Compensation: $295,000 – $555,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own and drive a research agenda focused on improving model proactivity and personalization.
• Design and implement post-training methods, including reinforcement learning and dataset creation.
• Build robust evaluation systems to track and measure modeling improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional research and product teams to integrate technical solutions.
• Debug and optimize complex code across the research stack.

Requirements

• Strong background in machine learning engineering and research.
• Experience working with novel, highly capable AI models.
• Deep understanding of ML applications and post-training evaluation approaches.
• Ability to navigate and debug large, complex ML codebases.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
