What you will do

• Design and build shared backend services and APIs for cross-system reuse.
• Define service boundaries, contracts, and complex data models.
• Own the full SDLC from initial design through deployment and iteration.
• Contribute to domain modeling and high-level system architecture decisions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Must be based in the US and authorized to work without restriction.
• Strong backend expertise with the ability to operate across the full stack.
• Experience designing service-oriented or distributed systems.
• Deep familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) principles.
• Proven experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep experience with daily usage of AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Golang, or Rust.
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, SQS) and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL data modeling and observability practices.
