Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Phoenix, AZ; Chandler, AZ; Irving, TX; or Charlotte, NC. Must be eligible to work on W2 basis only.

What you will do

• Develop and modernize applications for mail and print operations, including shipping label scanning and printing.
• Execute cloud migration, application rewrites, and AI implementation initiatives.
• Build and optimize microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient applications following 12-factor principles and cloud-native patterns.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and system modernization efforts within an Agile team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Recent experience (within 4 years) with Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, Kafka, and REST implementation.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and cloud platforms (OpenShift preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE design patterns, OOP, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on experience with advanced patterns: Strangler, API Gateway, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga, and Circuit Breaker.
• Must work on W2 basis (No C2C eligibility).

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Apigee.
• Experience with containerization and modernization projects.
• Experience with Hackerrank assessments.
