What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect, deploy, and optimize high-performance microservices and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Integrate modern AI tools to optimize code quality, automate tasks, and accelerate the development lifecycle.
• Write clean, testable code and conduct deep-dive architectural and code reviews.
• Identify technical debt and make pragmatic trade-offs between velocity and scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of scaling backend systems.
• Deep mastery of Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Demonstrable experience delivering solutions on AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, RDS).
• Practical experience using AI tools within the development workflow.
• Must be located in Miami, FL and available to work on-site.

Nice to have

• Experience in Microservices and API-first design.
• Exposure to modern DevOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
