What you will do
- Own overall business performance for assigned categories, including revenue, margin, and inventory productivity.
- Act as General Manager for categories, developing strategies aligned with long-term brand vision.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive gaps to drive category expansion.
- Build and manage category assortments, pricing strategies, and product segmentation.
- Develop long-range product roadmaps and partner with Finance on forecasting and open-to-buy strategies.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing merchandising organization and establish reporting frameworks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of merchandising or category management experience, specifically within furniture and retail.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of ownership over revenue, margin, and inventory growth.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen to translate data into actionable business decisions.
- Direct-to-consumer (DTC) and omnichannel retail experience required.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with Design, Sourcing, Finance, and Marketing.
