What you will do

• Architect and implement a green-field risk management platform using Java.
• Design real-time systems for market data analysis, PnL calculations, and automated alerting.
• Optimize risk control frameworks to minimize losses during market volatility.
• Collaborate with risk managers and product teams to refine system logic through iterative development.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects with trading desks and operations teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for risk control systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in quantitative trading or front-office technology roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and Java.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, margin, leverage, and market risk.
• Experience with SQL, Redis, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with agentic programming and AI-powered coding tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience in risk management for banks, hedge funds, or exchanges.
• Understanding of event contract markets or binary-options pricing.
• Proficiency in Mandarin for global collaboration.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM.
