What you will do

• Own the end-to-end finance systems design, including ledger, sub-ledger, consolidation, and reporting layers.
• Translate complex accounting and reporting requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Lead system configuration design, data flows, and integration requirements.
• Oversee system implementation, testing strategy, and defect resolution.
• Drive improvements in automation, data quality, and the overall control environment.
• Act as a key liaison between Finance, Technology, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK with the ability to work from Stirling or Edinburgh.
• Strong experience in finance systems such as Oracle or Tagetik.
• Deep understanding of finance data flows and reporting architectures.
• Proven experience delivering system implementations or large-scale transformations.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to effectively bridge the gap between accounting and technology functions.
