What you will do

• Design and implement a real operating model with clear roles, responsibilities, and accountable processes.
• Lead high-pace hiring, scale line management, and strategically place talent where they excel.
• Own and optimize cost and infrastructure spend across SaaS, AI, and cloud providers.
• Ensure obsessive delivery rigour and monitoring for major client events and tentpoles.
• Rebuild internal operations around an AI-first layer, automating all repeatable processes.
• Execute high-level direction from founders, identifying and filling operational gaps independently.

Requirements

• Experience running operations in fast-moving, high-growth technology or SaaS environments.
• Must be based in South Africa.
• Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, from billing dashboards to team restructuring.
• Daily active use of AI tools to create professional leverage.
• Ability to thrive in speed, ambiguity, and a degree of chaos.
