Application Support Engineer (Low-Code SaaS)

Location: Remote within the United States, with the ability to work from the Boston office a few times per year.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year, plus eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Manage and resolve customer issues involving application development, deployment, and integrations on the Mendix platform.
• Investigate, reproduce, and troubleshoot issues across the platform infrastructure, runtime, and related software components.
• Identify root causes and provide suitable technical solutions.
• Coordinate reported issues and technical insights with R&D, Product Management, and Customer Success.
• Prioritize customer cases according to severity and business impact while maintaining clear SLA expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
• Understanding of or interest in Java, JavaScript, APIs, web services, SQL, and public cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
• Ability to work from the Boston office a few times per year is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-code platforms.
• Experience in customer-facing technical support, consulting, or customer service.
