What you will do

• Act as the financial expert for a designated portfolio of complex properties, ensuring accuracy in monthly financial reporting.
• Review the work of other accountants and provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Manage and review general ledgers, balance sheets, income statements, and reconcile all balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate with property management teams to create and review annual operating budgets.
• Oversee the CAM Reconciliation process and ensure tenant lease language is accurately input into accounting software.
• Handle partnership accounting, including distributions, contributions, and construction project draws.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification is preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Working knowledge of financial systems, with Oracle preferred.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
