What you will do

• Own core gameplay systems and features from initial concept through to polished implementation in Unreal Engine.
• Conduct rapid prototyping to validate design ideas quickly and cost-effectively.
• Lead playtesting and iteration cycles, identifying critical design changes based on player behavior and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with art, engineering, and production teams to ensure a cohesive player experience.
• Develop clear and useful design documentation and implementation notes for the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Designer on shipped games, preferably within the simulation genre.
• Strong hands-on experience prototyping and tuning gameplay systems directly in Unreal Engine.
• Deep understanding of systemic design, player motivation, and long-term engagement mechanics.
• Must be based in the UK or Europe.
• Ability to use playtesting data and qualitative feedback to refine features.
