Senior Test Engineer (API): Ensuring the quality and stability of API interfaces using consumer- and provider-driven contract testing with an accent on Oracle WebLogic Server environments. Focus on modernizing legacy Excel/VBA test suites into scalable automated CI/CD solutions.

Location: Must be located in Poland and have EU citizenship. Hybrid work with required visits to the office in Katowice.

Salary: UOP 12,000–16,000 PLN gross/month or B2B 100–140 PLN net/h

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain API contracts and contract-based tests (Consumer-driven and Provider-side).
• Validate REST API implementations deployed on Oracle WebLogic Server, focusing on schemas, backward compatibility, and error handling.
• Integrate API and contract tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze and migrate legacy Excel/VBA test suites into automated JSON/YAML based solutions.
• Collaborate with middleware developers, consuming teams, and DevOps engineers.
• Manage and document test environments across various stages (DEV, TST, ACC, PRD).

Requirements

• Proven experience with Contract Based Testing (e.g., Pact, Spring Cloud Contract).
• Strong expertise in REST API testing, including HTTP methods and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Linux (command line, log analysis).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Fluent English: B2/C1 level.
• Must be located in Poland and possess EU citizenship.
