What you will do

• Prepare aerospace components for heat treatment and plating using specialized masking materials and tapes.
• Execute blasting duties using various media to prepare part surfaces.
• Interpret engineering drawings and process specifications to ensure strict adherence to tolerances.
• Perform precision inspections using micrometers, verniers, and plug gauges to verify part specifications.
• Manage part tracking and system documentation utilizing Solumina and SAP.
• Maintain compliance with Nadcap and hirify.global Quality Systems while handling hazardous substances safely.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
• Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing environment, including shift work.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Background in Engineering or Aerospace.
• Strong communication skills and a reliable, proactive attitude.

Nice to have

• Direct experience within the aerospace sector.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification.
