What you will do

• Lead the development of major team-scoped projects for HR and payroll products.
• Redesign engineering workflows to use autonomous agents as the default execution layer.
• Build reusable agentic workflows and primitives to ensure scalable and reliable outcomes.
• Implement verification loops including tests, checks, and guardrails for AI-driven systems.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers while participating in cross-team initiatives.
• Debug and solve complex technical and business issues across the platform.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals with a track record of shipping secure, reliable, and scalable production systems.
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows.
• Proficiency with Postgres and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrable AI fluency and ability to implement automation capabilities.
• English: C1 proficiency required for all documentation and communication.
• Ability to think in systems, define clear specs, and instrument verification.

Nice to have

• Experience with functional programming languages like Elixir, Erlang, Scala, or Haskell.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like Next.js or React.
