Financial Analyst (FP&A)

What you will do

• Own the monthly COGS reporting cycle, tracking variances by cost category and campus.
• Maintain departmental overhead trackers and produce monthly budget vs actuals reports.
• Prepare core supporting schedules for month-end close, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
• Support the annual budgeting cycle and maintain rolling overhead and COGS forecasts.
• Build cost scenario models to support institutional planning and business case preparation.
• Track capital expenditure against approved budgets and reconcile project registers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in overhead tracking, cost variance analysis, and financial schedule preparation.
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including advanced formulas and structured modeling.
• Solid understanding of management accounting principles such as accruals and cost allocation.
• Experience working with ERP systems, with NetSuite being a strong advantage.
• Detail-oriented approach to reconciliation and clear written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA).
• Experience in education, non-profit, or international development sectors.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction.
• Exposure to grant budget tracking and donor fund allocation.
