TL;DR

FP&A Analyst (OPEX): Managing the operational expenditure budget and financial reporting for a growing SaaS company with an accent on business partnering and cost optimization. Focus on streamlining financial processes, producing insightful management reports, and supporting strategic decision-making through detailed business cases.

Location: Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria (Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in office). Must have eligibility to work in Bulgaria.

Salary: €30,000–€35,000 per annum.

What you will do

  • Manage the OPEX P&L budget across the organization.
  • Partner with the implementation team on services revenue recognition.
  • Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing processes.
  • Produce monthly KPIs and management reports for cost centre owners.
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting and digitalize processes.
  • Prepare investment analyses and business cases to support strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant financial analysis or control experience.
  • Fluent English (written and oral).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present financial insights transparently.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Must have eligibility to work in Bulgaria (no sponsorship provided).
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.

Nice to have

  • Degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Prior experience in a SaaS or software company.
