What you will do

• Own the strategic roadmap and budget planning for the KION GenAI platform.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a global team of AI engineers and platform experts.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient service operations using cloud-native technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement in development, deployment, and monitoring processes (DevOps, LLMOps, AgentOps).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement and support global AI use cases.
• Maintain SLA compliance and oversee incident management for AI services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, data science, or engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in AI, Data Science, or Machine Learning projects.
• Profound understanding of LLMs, vector databases, RAG methods, and modern AI frameworks.
• Experience in IT governance, product management, or AI application ownership.
• Proven track record in managing and mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent English proficiency required; German language skills are a plus.
