TL;DR

People Operations Specialist (Swiss Employment Law): Supporting Swiss and French employee lifecycle administration with an accent on Swiss labor law expertise, compliant HR operations, and end-to-end process ownership. Location: Sankt Gallen Metropolitan Area (hybrid; come to the St. Gallen office once per week)

hirify.global builds software for teams, with People Operations supporting employee lifecycle and compliance.

What you will do

  • Administer the full employee lifecycle for the Swiss entity (contracts, employee changes, offboarding, leave) with compliance and accuracy.
  • Own People Operations for the French entity in close collaboration with the local payroll provider.
  • Act as a go-to expert on Swiss labor law (employment contracts, termination procedures, parental leave, and related topics).
  • Manage communications with Swiss tax authorities, immigration offices, and other government institutions in German.
  • Maintain and improve HRIS (Personio): keep data accurate, optimize workflows, and build meaningful automations.
  • Handle employee questions on contracts, benefits, and HR policies; drive complex initiatives end-to-end across People, Finance, and Legal.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or a similar role (ideally in a scaling technology company or international environment).
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Swiss labor law.
  • English fluency and business-fluent German.
  • Experience working with an HRIS; strong advantage with Personio.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup and come to the St. Gallen office once per week.
  • Precise, proactive, self-directed approach with strong attention to detail and process ownership.

Nice to have

  • French (plus).
  • Curiosity about AI and interest in exploring tools to reduce manual work.
