What you will do

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of E-Commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Create complex technical solutions spanning multiple domains and resolve specialist technical challenges.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise applications.
• Drive technical debt remediation strategies and create automated delivery pipelines across platforms.
• Manage relationships with key client-side stakeholders and ensure the architectural vision is realized by delivery teams.
• Make and justify key architectural decisions considering all relevant organizational constraints.

Requirements

• Expert understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and proven experience delivering eCommerce solutions.
• Strong knowledge of application, integration, data, and infrastructure architecture.
• Proficiency in distributed systems design, microservices patterns, and serverless architectures.
• Expertise in CI/CD implementation, environment strategies, and NFR performance optimization.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office (Hybrid, average 4 days/week)

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of caching strategies and Headless architectures.
• Experience with the C4 Model for Software Architecture.
• Application of AI in the context of model abilities and use cases.
