Industrial Systems Engineer

TL;DR

Industrial Systems Engineer (Manufacturing IT): Building and improving industrial production management systems and factory operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment with an accent on capacity modeling, scheduling, OEE improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma methods. What you will do

• Partner with area teams to identify improvement opportunities and deliver solutions aligned to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals.
• Use Scrum/Agile to establish and maintain accurate area production management systems (capacity modeling, dispatch, fab scheduling, forecasting).
• Improve factory equipment efficiency using OEE to reduce cycle time and/or increase capacity with minimal capital/operational investment.
• Increase labor productivity by developing and deploying best-known methods and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Perform strategic capacity planning for both equipment and staffing, and communicate goals/forecasts tied to factory objectives.
• Define requirements and business processes, and complete user acceptance testing for IE systems supported by Manufacturing IT, including internal and external software solutions; apply AI/ML/GenAI/LLM for operations.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Engineering; MS preferred.
• Strong analytical and creative thinking for decision-making, plus strong data analysis skills (statistics, SPC, ANOVA, comparative methods, DOE) with experience using JMP, Minitab, or similar.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
• Expert knowledge of M365 products including Copilot.
• Strong problem-solving skills using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Programming and data skills: Python, R, or C++, plus SQL and some BI experience (Tableau, Power BI); ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear a cleanroom suit.
