Senior/Lead Cloud Automation Developer (Cloud Engineering): Developing and leading cloud automation solutions on the VMware Cloud Foundation platform with an accent on infrastructure-as-code, API integration, and scalable enterprise architecture. Focus on mentoring the development team, defining technical proposals, and ensuring high-quality delivery across private and public cloud environments.

What you will do
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or programming languages like Python and TypeScript.
- Automate the provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure using VMware Aria Suite.
- Integrate VMware products with third-party systems via APIs.
- Lead and mentor the development team, including WBS definition and code reviews.
- Collaborate with customers during presales and delivery phases to define efficient implementation proposals.
- Drive internal initiatives for optimizing frameworks, libraries, and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud integration, customization, and automation projects.
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform, preferably VMware.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proficiency in scripting or OOP languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and security.
- Experience leading development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to have
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Certifications in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Experience working with customers across the EMEA region.
