Infrastructure Operations Engineer

What you will do

• Manage and support production and non-production infrastructure running in AWS.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and services.
• Support MySQL environments through performance tuning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational health monitoring.
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure and service incidents.
• Improve reliability, availability, and performance through automation, monitoring, alerting, patching, and capacity planning.
• Partner with engineering teams to deploy, maintain, and optimize infrastructure services, while documenting procedures and runbooks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience administering and troubleshooting MySQL.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills and experience supporting production services.
• Experience with Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Experience with Bash or Python automation, strong troubleshooting skills, and effective cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or other container orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.
• Experience in high-availability or customer-facing production environments.
