Salary: $163,000–$204,000 (Denver/Remote) or $197,000–$247,000 (San Francisco/New York).

What you will do

• Design and operate AI-powered growth experiences, focusing on conversational and communication-driven product surfaces.
• Lead the technical strategy for an AI Voice Agent for customer onboarding, including backend integrations and safety controls.
• Scale AI-driven email systems using LLM-powered content generation engines.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Design teams to prototype and ship improvements that drive activation and conversion.
• Establish engineering patterns for applied AI, including prompt design, observability, and evaluation-driven iteration.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar on technical execution and responsible AI usage.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience building and shipping customer-facing products at scale.
• Proven experience building full-stack systems, including frontend applications and backend services.
• Strong applied AI fluency, including experience with prompt design, conversational systems, or content generation.
• Experience owning multi-quarter initiatives that solve ambiguous engineering problems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and business stakeholders.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity (2-3 days/week) from a hirify.global office.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Ruby on Rails.
• Background in growth-related product areas like CRM, lifecycle marketing, or workflow automation.
• Experience in a collaborative, test-driven development environment.
