What you will do

• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to plan steel layouts.
• Measure, mark, and align steel parts for assembly.
• Operate cranes and hoists to safely position heavy components.
• Assemble and secure fittings using welding torches and hand tools.
• Verify structural conformance to specifications using precision measuring devices.
• Operate cutting equipment to prepare materials for fabrication.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Pineville, LA
• Ability to interpret blueprints and read a tape measure
• Must pass an on-site tack test
• Reliable attendance is required
• Prior fitting or welding experience preferred
• Experience with moving machinery or cranes preferred
