Physician - Virtual Urgent Care

Location: Remote from one of these states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Work hours are 5:00 PM–10:00 PM EST on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $109–$143 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in a virtual setting through audio, video, and written communication.
• Use remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exams, and point-of-care diagnostics to support virtual assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice leads, nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors.
• Follow up on laboratory results, imaging, and closed-loop communication with patients and other providers.
• Participate in huddles, case conferences, service-line meetings, and other activities supporting patient care.
• Provide feedback on operational workflows and product features while complying with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Board certification in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• At least 3 years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• At least 2 years of virtual care or telemedicine experience.
• Fully licensed in at least three of Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and New Jersey.
• Current or eligible compact license through the IMLCC, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses with support from the licensing vendor.

• Spanish fluency.
